Guys just don’t seem to want to retire from the NBA. Kobe, Duncan and Manu will all be back to give it another go. And so will Kevin Garnett. KG will return to the Timberwolves for his 21st season in the association. He will join only Robert Parish and Kevin Willis and the only three to have played at least 21 seasons.
Long expected to re-sign in Minnesota for at least another year at age 39, Garnett’s contract is “done,” according to 1500ESPN contributor Darren Wolfson.
Terms of the deal were not immediately known.
“I’m incredibly excited and rejuvenated to be a part of this talented, committed team,” Garnett said, in a statement passed along to Wolfson.
