Russell Westbrook’s 54-point outburst in Sunday night’s loss to Indiana raised eyebrows because it took him 43 shots to get there. In Westbrook’s defense, he’s the only consistent option for OKC. But on the other hand, there are nights where an entire NBA team will take 70-something shots combined.
But if there’s anybody who will run to the aid of somebody shooting 40+ times, that would be Kobe Bryant since he has done this before.
