At one time, Stephen Curry wasn’t looked at as an elite basketball player. Since those days are long over, Under Armour drew up this new colorway of his Curry One signature sneaker to remember times past.
The ‘Underdog’ Curry One features reflective UA branding by the heel, three-circle graphics said to represent his beliefs & family, the new Charged Cushioning system, and the word “underdog” inside of the tongue.
It makes sense why Stephen wasn’t so quickly heralded. Being the son of NBA great Dell Curry, it is only natural that his son would be met with skepticism. However, the eldest Splash Brother has risen to the occasion and is en route at his first serious NBA title run while having his best season. Could the Curry One release the same year the player of its namesake, Stephen, wins it all with the Warriors?
The ‘Underdog’ Under Armour Curry One releases on Saturday, April 3rd for $120 on the UA webstore.
