Dwight Howard has missed 22 games for the Houston Rockets, but thanks to James Harden, the team has managed to go 15-8 without the big man. That’s great and all, but Houston will definitely need Howard if they are to be taken seriously in the playoffs.
But according to Howard, he close to returning. It might be interesting to see how he gels with the team when he returns.
“Pretty close, pretty close. I can’t wait to get back on the floor,” Howard said. “It sucks being injured and trying to come back from an injury. When people see you they say, ‘Oh he looks good,’ and sometimes they don’t understand the whole process. I’m happy the rehab process is almost over with and I can get back on the floor and join my team.”
