Playing in an era with Mike, Magic, Bird, Barkley and others, it’s easy to be overlooked. That, perhaps, has been the case with Dominique Wilkins. A great player in his own right, but he’s named after the aforementioned.
But the Atlanta Hawks are paying the ultimate tribute to ‘Nique. Today, his statue is being placed outside of Philips Arena to honor his greatness.
