Sneaker colorways are at an all-time high with the nickname inspirations and backstories. The first colorway of the LeBron 12 Low is a perfect example of that.
Brilliantly called the ‘LeBronald Palmer’ Nike LeBron 12 Low, the new lowtop silhouette features an Air Max cushioning unit in the heel; something that has come to be expected in LBJ’s lowtop version of his sneakers. The nickname comes from the half iced tea/half lemonade drink that golfer Arnold Palmer popularized and added with his namesake.
Even though this isn’t the first time a lowtop Nike LeBron has been seen in this colorway; there was pictures of two different ‘LeBronald Palmer’ LeBron X Low that never released. Foot Locker will have the Nike LeBron 12 Low ‘LeBronald Palmer’ in select stores on Saturday, March 1st for $200.
