After signing former All-star power forward Kenyon Martin to two consecutive 10-day contracts—it looks like the Bucks have been pleased with his performance and are now planning to secure his services for the rest of this season, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com.
Martin, 37, has contributed significantly to the team this season despite having limited playing time in his first seven games. Clearly, he’s not as dominant as he was before, but through his veteran experience—the young Bucks team have someone to look to for advice in the locker room, which could act as a catalyst in their development as players and as a team. But don’t sleep on Martin come playoff time. When the game slows to a grind, a player with his grit and toughness will be highly valuable and effective, even if played sparingly.
ESPN sources say Kenyon Martin will be signed to a rest-of-season deal this week by @Bucks. Martin's second 10-day deal is about to expire

Another reason for this move is obviously due to the teams depleted front court after Jabari Parker suffered a season-ending injury and Larry Sanders recently being suspended by the league due to violations of league policies.
