Kentucky’s basketball team looks pretty impressive in the early part of the season, naturally it will raise of the question of whether or not they can beat the worst NBA team: the Sixers.
UK coach John Calipari recently stated he thinks he team would get destroyed by any NBA team (he has to say that) as a way to kill that talk.
Former Kentucky guard and current Phoenix Sun Eric Bledsoe was recently asked the same question and he’s picking his Wildcats.
“”I’m definitely taking Kentucky,” Bledsoe said when asked who would win in a seven-game series between the two teams. “I think Philly would get probably, maybe one game.”
Bledsoe acknowledged that the Philadelphia faithful likely wouldn’t be happy with his opinion.
“I know [the Sixers fans] are going be mad, but I love my Wildcats.”
