After just playing 6 games last season due to another injury setback—Kobe Bryant is determined to make the most out of his time left in his NBA career as he plans to not just play for the entire regular season but also all of the 8 preseason games for the Los Angeles Lakers—which will begin on October 6 against the Denver Nuggets.
From Marc J Spears of Yahoo Sports:
Lakers coach Byron Scott said Kobe plans on playing in all 8 preseason games to get the rust off, get his timing and get his legs ready.

Bryant, 36, is certainly running out of time and at the same time all the doubters just continue to pile up even
more—which is good since we all know he loves taking on challenges no matter how impossible it may be. That competitive fire within him is endless and it’ll continue to burn even after the final buzzer sounds.
With a new coach and several additions of new players—Kobe and his Lakers will be looking to find that needed chemistry with one another as soon as possible in order to make it to the playoffs and show that they’re better than what other people say they are.
Entering his 19th season in the league and arguably the toughest one yet—all eyes will be on Kobe to lead and put on a show every game for the purple and gold once again, however, what kind of Kobe will we see next season? Will it be his old dominant self or a different one?
We’ll just have to wait a few more days until he officially steps back on the court again while he tries to prove to the entire world that age is just really a number.
