When many think about Jordans these days what immediately comes to mind is the Air Jordan line. While at the time those were the premiere performance shoes from the brand, a couple decades of sneaker tech development has happened. Via Nike Inc’s official website we get an official look at the Jordan Super.Fly 3.
The Jordan Super.Fly 3 is technically the fourth sneaker in the Jordan SuperFly series and features a modified #FlightPlate (which sits between the foot and bottom-loaded Zoom Air capsule in the forefoot) and has an outsole inspired by the upcoming Air Jordan XX9. The upper uses the Flight Web system which is made from several synthethic layers fused together thru heat and designed to look like a sonic boom.
Since inception, the Jordan Super.Fly has been worn by Blake Griffin and has become his unofficial signature sneaker so its only fitting that he is seen here in Super.Fly 3 debut. Griffin had this to say about the Super.Fly 3:
…I really wanted a shoe that allowed me to gain an explosive edge on court – with speed and my lift,” said Griffin, who will wear the shoe in the upcoming season. “I really like that FlightPlate not only makes me feel more powerful throughout the game, but also gives me confidence when I’m taking flight
The first two colorway of the Jordan Super.Fly 3 shown here release on October 1st for $140.
