Inspired by long-time Nike/Air Jordan friend of the program Spike Lee and his 40 Acres & A Mule production company, a new Air Jordan VI colorway is releasing at the end of this week.
Featuring a red upper constructed from a very premium-looking tumbled upper, the ‘Spizike’ Jordan 6 has an entirely white sole and a inner lining with a print originally debuted on the Air Jordan XX and the first Jordan Spiz’ike (which is also re-releasing the same day this Air Jordan VI does). With a steady onslaught of Air Jordan Retro releases coming out with all types of inspirations and color blocking it is good to see the Air Jordan sneaker that MJ wore to win his first NBA title come out in a very Chicago Bulls-esque colorway. He might not have worn them on the court but you surely can.
The “Spiz’ike” colorway of the Air Jordan VI (6) releases August 9th at 9 AM EST on the Nike webstore for $170.
