When British Knights popped back up on our radars, it was because of their showing at Agenda NYC this year. While there is a full catalog of sneakers with great basketball stories, it is the impending return of the British Knights Dymacel sneaker has us looking forward to the brand’s return.
Aside from the all black Player Exclusive pair, we also know that both the original white/red & white/blue colorways of the British Knights Dymacel (worn by Derrick Coleman with the New Jersey Nets from 1992) will also make a return to current-day commerce. These two will not, however, release with Coleman’s #44 jersey number on the tongue like seen in the images below but the black pair will.
The Dymacel name comes from the proprietary cushioning system that British Knights uses which is made up from air capsulated in gel with spikes spread throughout the unit to help with shock absorbing and energy return.
No official release date or price has been given from British Knights on when the Player Exclusive black pair or any of the other BK Dymacel colorways, so keep it locked to our sneaker social channels: @THDkicks on Instagram and Twitter for up-to-date information.
