With Retro basketball sneaker popularity at an all-time high now seems like the best time to resurrect the British Knights shoe line and bring back several original hoops shoe silhouettes.
At the 2014 Agenda trade show in NYC, British Knights had a display set up close to the entrance of the Jacop Javits Center hall to immediately catch the attention of all those in attendance perusing the show. While there were more colorways on-hand of the British Knights Control in both hightop and lowtop, the sneaker that stood out the most at the British Knights display is the classic BK Dymacel.
Named after the British Knights cushioning system and immediately worn Derrick Coleman of the New Jersey Nets, the British Knights Dymacel model is being re-released for the first time in over two decades along with other Dymacel-cushioned sneakers.
Alongside the general release sneakers that will release, British Knights also has a few collaborative sneakers scheduled to release this year with frequent sneaker collaborators and noteworthy brands.
No official word from British Knights on the release of the Dymacel or any of the more casual sneakers but I will do my best to keep up-to-date with the brand’s happenings and bring the news out here.
