With the entire world watching, many guys on the Spurs made a name for themselves. Kawhi Leonard no doubt leads that list, but Patty Mills is on their too. Whenever he relieved Parker, the Spurs offense didn’t miss a beat. Mills is arguably just as quick as Tony and has a better outside shot.
Because of his contributions, Mills (a free agent) will draw the interest of many teams. He’s already on the radar of the Knicks who would immediately insert him right into the starting lineup.
The Knicks will look to use their mini mid-level exception to obtain a free-agent starting point guard and one may have emerged out of the Finals massacre of Miami in Spurs backup Patty Mills….
