Well, it appears as if Phil Jackon finally got what he has been seeking: a head coach who has absolutely zero coaching experience. After Steve Kerr took the Golden State job, Phil has been on the prowl for a former player he can mold.
That has apparently come by way of Derek Fisher.
According to Bleacher Report’s Howard Beck and Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter, Fisher has accepted the position:
