Russell Westbrook’s game and stat line from last night’s OKC win was so impressive, that many either didn’t realize or were unaware of the fact that Kevin Durant had 31 points.
Westbrook was efficient and ended up with 40 points, 10 assists and 5 steals.
In fact, he’s the first player to rack up those numbers in a playoff game since Michael Jordan did it during the 1989 postseason. Not too shabby. They’ll need more of that (and more of Ibaka’s rim protecting) to take game 5 in San Antonio.
Correction– Russell Westbrook: first with 40 pts, 10 assists (not rebounds) and 5 steals in a playoff game since Michael Jordan in 1989
