The Indiana Pacers were widely thought to be the ones to dethrone the Miami Heat in the East this year. But after the team fell apart late in the season, that seems unlikely. We don’t even know if they’ll get past the 8 seed Hawks.
Whenever something like this happens, the coach is the first to go because you can’t fire players. But according to sources close to the team, Pacers coach Frank Vogel’s job is safe regardless of what happens here.
