On paper, the Timberwolves should be an exciting up and coming team but that hasn’t always translated the way the team would have liked. Last night, Minnesota hosted Phoenix in a nationally televised game and came up short.
Following the game, Kevin Love was apparently frustrated with the behavior of some of his teammates and decided to let that be known. Sure, he was frustrated but he has now made it a very difficult situation with him in terms of dealing with his squad.
“We can’t have two guys sitting at the end of the bench that play good minutes just sitting there and not getting up during timeouts,” Love said, referring to the poor body language exhibited by veterans J.J. Barea and Dante Cunningham in the fourth quarter. “We all need to be in this together. That kind of (ticks) me off. We’re supposed to be a team.”
