So I’m going thru the normal process of gathering content for the site and I learn that 2014 will have the first Air Jordan Retro that I’ve been excited to get my hands on, in years. And a new colorway at that.
The ‘Championship Cigar’ Jordan 4 gives off the appearance of having brown lux leather panels atop a brushed suede on the sides and different-type leather in the toe and everywhere else. Replacing the standard Air Jordan IV lacelock with a faux NBA Championship ring is a very nice touch and I wouldn’t be surprised to hear about people buying these sneakers and justifying the purchase with this golden shoe-tongue trinket.
Already being dubbed the with ‘Championship Cigar’ nickname, this Air Jordan VI (6) has a brown upper with broa dark red seen on the laces, mesh tongue, inner lining, and the bottom panel of the midsole above the translucent Air sole.
In 1991, the Air Jordan IV (4) officially released.
No matter what anyone says I will be calling these the ‘Blunt’ Air Jordan VI (6).
