The Warriors’ Steph Curry can pretty much do no wrong. He’s the face of a franchise on the rise and is as unsuspecting a budding superstar as they come.
What has haunted him his entire brief career has been the injury bug. If his troublesome ankles can hold up, he is going to be a problem this year. We saw what he’s capable down the stretch in the playoffs.
But that doesn’t mean his game is flawless. Far from it. In fact, both he and coach Mark Jackson agree that he needs to take better care of the ball.
Mark Jackson sat down with NBA.com’s David Aldridge:
Me: What is your challenge to Steph this year?
MJ: My only thing with Steph, and he knows it, is that he has to do a better job taking care of the basketball. I asked him before cam started, what’s the biggest thing for him in camp? And he said ‘taking care of the basketball.’
