The New York Knicks may be right when they thought that bringing in former NBA Defensive Player of the Year Metta World Peace in free agency would help to bring some toughness to the Knickerbockers’ front-line.
But along with some much needed defensive intensity and another scoring option comes the other side of Peace, as he has been the poster child for odd and unusual behavior during his time as an NBA player.
Of course, we all remember the infamous “Malice at the Palace” incident, the constant name changes, and who could forget the elbow “heard around the world” when he gave former OKC Thunder guard James Harden an elbow to the face, that earned him a 7 game suspension.
While he has publicly embraced his struggles with his own mental health, it’s safe to say that we never truly know what to expect out of the former Mr Ron Artest.
His latest rant on Twitter proves that he still is along way from being cured……..
