Ever since being traded to the Hornets as part of the Chris Paul deal, Eric Gordon has never been the same. He was one of the promising young rising stars, but the injury bug has taken a toll on him.
The Pelicans have an excited young roster on paper, if everyone can stay healthy. In fact, they could be a perennial playoff team before long. The good news is that Eric Gordon appears to be over his injuries. Gordon says he feels good and looks to be 100 percent this year.
“Health-wise, I’ve been doing pretty good, been taking it slow but moving around really well,” he said. “As long as I get to the 100 percent point before training camp, that’s what I’m looking forward to.”
“It’s not like I’ve been playing terrible, I just haven’t been fully effective to where I should be,” he said. “I look forward to that this year.”
