Lebron James has been on top of the world over the past 2 seasons.  Like him or not, one has to admire his talents, as we are all bearing witness to James and one of the greatest individual stretches for a player in league history.

After winning Gold with Team USA in the 2012 London Olympics, “King James” has gone on to make another 2 consecutive All Star appearances, win 2 more NBA MVP Awards, add to his jewelry case by adding 2 Championship rings, in addition to taking home 2 NBA Finals MVP Awards.

During last season, his Heat won 27 consecutive games, the 2nd longest streak of all time, as James averaged a remarkable 26.8 ppg, 8 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1.7 steals, and shot more than 56% from the field in being named to the All NBA 1st Team for a 7th time.

And he’s finally surpassed the great Kobe Bryant to unanimously be considered as the greatest ballplayer on the planet.  Considering all of the accolades he has accumulated as such a young age, I believe Lebron when he says “He’s got no worries” during his 2013 NBA Finals acceptance speech.

While we await what will happen during the Summer of 2014 when Lebron can officially opt out in Miami and potentially return back home to Cleveland to play alongside Kyrie Irving, I anticipate another run by James and the Heat as he attempts to be the first three-peat winner since Kobe and Shaq more than a decade ago.

Along with being t the apex of the basketball universe comes some perks, like being on the cover on the newest Slam Magazine, due out in a few weeks…
