For Kevin Garnett to miss a game vs. the New York Knicks, he must really be hurt.
KG is likely to miss tomorrow night’s tilt vs. the division rivals as he is battling a sore left foot. In fact, he may be out a bit longer than that.
The Celtics will almost certainly be without Kevin Garnett when they take on the Knicks Tuesday night at TD Garden, according to coach Doc Rivers. Rivers said Garnett has been dealing with a sore left foot and the discomfort forced him to miss Saturday’s game in Memphis. He was sent back to Boston for an MRI and Rivers said before Monday’s practice that the team is still awaiting results of that exam. In the meantime, Rivers said it’s likely that Garnett will miss at least ‘four to five games’ with the injury.
