In just a three years since LeBron left Cleveland, the Cavaliers have assembled a very nice young core. Kyrie Irving, Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters will be a force to be reckoned with down the stretch. But Kyrie has already missed significant time so far in his young career due to injury, as he’s out for the remainder of the season.
You can probably add Dion Waiters to that as well. Waiters is out at least a week and may need knee surgery. Let’s hope that’s not the case. And to make matters worst, the Miami Heat come to town on Wednesday.
Rookie guard Dion Waiters will miss at least one week with a sore left knee and may need surgery, another blow to the young Cavs who are already without Kyrie Irving and Anderson Varejao and will have to face history-chasing Miami on Wednesday night. The Heat have won 23 straight games, the second-longest streak in NBA history.
