While the New York Knicks were playing a regular season game in London against the Detroit Pistons, Carmelo Anthony took full advantage of the time overseas by meeting with artist Dave White to talk about an upcoming collaboration between the two of them on the Jordan Melo M9 sneaker.
During the trip to England, Anthony met up with the acclaimed British artist Dave White at The Savoy luxury hotel in London. After sampling the fine tea, the purpose of the meeting was to go over ideas for a new pair of the Jordan Melo M9 to commemorate Carmelo’s Olympic record-setting game against Nigeria where he scored 37 points.
Details like the colorway and release information aren’t yet available, but we do know that it will only be sold in London. Dave White is most known for collaborating on a set of limited edition pairs of the Air Jordan I in 2012 featuring an artistic print of the American flag.
