Is this 2012 or 2002? When word was getting around this weekend that the retired Rasheed Wallace was at the Knicks practice facility working out with Marcus Camby and Kurt Thomas, I immediately got excited. Then I snapped to reality and remember that this is the year 2012, and even if all three big men were on the same team, the trio would hardly strike fear into opposing teams these days. Father time has caught up to all three of them. But with that said, all three have the ability to provide good defensive spot minutes, and great veteran leadership. And in the case of Wallace, the odd technical foul. So who knows, if the report below is correct, maybe the Knicks are considering signing Wallace…
