The World Basketball Festival is in full swing right now and to celebrate, Nike Basketball is scheduled to release a set of sneakers drawing inspiration from the event early next month. Unlike the more tonal sneaker sets seen on the Jordan Brand City Pack for the WBF, this pack calls upon the vibrant Fireberry color to accent the popular Cool Grey color which is sure to break a few necks. The Cool Grey/White-Thunder Blue-Fireberry color combination makes its way onto the Hyperdunk 2012, LeBron IX Low, Lunar Hyperdunk 2012, and Zoom Kobe VII. On the 2012 Hyperfuse, a crest symbolizing the WBF event can be seen on the tongue. A few months ago what we thought to be a ‘South Beach’ version of the 2012 Hyperfuse has turned out to be apart of this pack.
The Nike Basketball ‘WBF Fireberry’ pack is scheduled to reach store shelves on August 4th.
