Most famously known for the neoprene inner bootie, the Air Flight Huarache was created in 1992 by Tinker Hatfield who was assisted by Eric Aver.
While it was widely known that Hatfield was slowly cutting back on the amount of Swoosh branding on the Air Jordan line until it was non-existing, I find it interesting that a sneaker that so closely related to the Jordan VII in both shape and release date also lacked a visible Swoosh.
This was another one of the earliest examples of Air Jordans expanding on Nike Basketball technology with the Huarache Flight serving as a skeleton predecessor to the Jordan VII.
Many will recognize the Huarache Flight one of the sneakers primarily worn by Michigan’s Fab Five during the 90s. The Air Flight Huarache was recently updated last year with the introduction of the Air Huarache Basketball 2012.
