In what may not seem like a big blockbuster signing, Andre Miller has solidified the Nuggets backcourt by agreeing to re-sign with the team for 3 years to back up the starting point guard Ty Lawson. Given Miller’s leadership, experience, and performance last season he will once again be one of the better point men to come off the bench in the whole league. Great move for the Nuggets.
Free agent point guard Andre Miller agreed to re-sign with the Denver Nuggets on a three-year deal, a source confirmed Sunday night.
The agreement was previously reported by Yahoo! Sports.
Miller averaged 9.7 points and 6.7 assists for the Nuggets last season as a backup to Ty Lawson.
