Jeremy Lin has had three amazing games, resulting in three straight wins for the short-handed New York Knicks. His play has had many speculating that he may be the best option for D’Antoni as the starter regardless of Baron Davis’ return. His play has drawn even more attention for the fact that he is the first Taiwanese-American player to make it to the NBA. So naturally, out East Lin is drawing a lot of renewed interest in television feeds of NBA games. Specifically the New York Knicks….
The NBA says Thursday its Asian TV partners have added Knicks games to their broadcast schedules following the emergence of Lin, the first American-born NBA player of Chinese or Taiwanese descent.
Sina in China will show Friday’s game against the Lakers, while stations in Taiwan will televise Knicks games this month against Toronto, Sacramento, New Orleans, New Jersey and Atlanta. ESPN Philippines also added the Feb. 17 Hornets game in New York.
