When the Lakers were swept from the playoffs last year, everybody went crazy. The organization apparently thought the core needed to be blown up. We reported back in June that the Lakers contacted the TWolves about a Gasol for Love trade. Even with the loss of Lamar Odom recently, and the acquisition of Murphy and McRoberts, the trade rumors around the Lakers’ Bynum and Gasol are still swirling.
Sources say the Lakers offered Pau Gasol to the T’Wolves for Kevin Love after the league canceled the Chris Paul trade. Wouldn’t you?
