The Knicks have been struggling mightily for a couple weeks now. They have three dominant front line players who haven’t been gelling all that well to this point. And they have a backcourt that looks extremely lost in the offense on most nights. The Knicks have been sliding by on the ‘get the ball to ‘Melo’ and let him shoot’ offense. That isn’t working for them. But many feel when Baron Davis returns to the court for the Knicks he will bring a spark to the backcourt that the bigs in the front court can feed off of as well.
Well there is a light at the end of the tunnel as Davis practiced today and is planning on playing by Saturday….
Baron Davis returned Monday for his first practice with the Knicks.
The injured point guard could make his debut Saturday in Houston for the finale of their four-game road trip, according to sources.
The Knicks prefer to start Davis on the road because there would be less pressure for him to perform. But if he has the slightest setback during practices, his debut would be pushed back to against the Pistons at Madison Square Garden next Tuesday. (Source)
