We here at TheHoopDoctors offices are huge fans of the comedic stylings of the website Funny or Die. Many of their humorous skits and videos have made their way onto our site over the years.
While they recently enlisted reigning NBA ROY Blake Griffin to do a laundry list of comedic videos as an intern during the Lockout, and made the now famous Boom Shackalacka video in honor of the newest NBA Jam release, some of my all time favorite skits involve the “fake” Kobe Bryant in various revealing news conferences.
Remember when he talked about the NBA Lockout, then ended the interview like Lebron in the Finals, by disappearing?
In honor of Kobe once again making news for a wrist injury and his impending divorce from longtime wife Vanessa, the “fake” Kobe is back at it again, making some rather rude comments about his divorce, the failed trade for Chris Paul, his upcoming TV show with Shaq called “Basketball Husbands”, and sharing candy with former teammate Lamar Odom.
That is, until NBA Commissioner David Stern decides to veto the divorce of Kobe and Vanessa, ending the press conference….
