We all know Nique lovingly as "The Human Highlight Film" due to his high flying and powerful dunks. But we think that actually hurt his chances for the MVP award as the media and public were often overlooking his value and dominance in scoring, defense, and leadership. There were a couple years he should have won the award, but he was robbed by Larry Bird in 1986 for the MVP after Bird had already won the two previous. Nique that year won the scoring title, and was an All-NBA First Team winner. He completely dominated the league in '86.
