Since there’s no basketball to watch at the moment because the NBA’s players and owners are still mired in a staring contest and because the college season hasn’t quite tipped off yet, most hoop fans tune in to the NFL to keep them sane. If you fall into that category then you probably watched last night’s Monday Night Football game between the Ravens and Jaguars. Unfortunately, that game was barely watchable because neither team was able to move the ball.
But the best about last night’s MNF game was probably the Jordan brand commercial that aired. Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony are the three most popular and recognizable members of the Jordan brand roster, and they were all featured together in the ad. It was funny in that it had them individually playing against various groups of people ranging in age and gender. In that sense it was innovative and made me long for the NBA even more.
