October 25, 2011 – The Hoop Doctors
Last night a team of former Kentucky players called the Big Blue All-stars took on a team of college and pro players called the ‘Villains’ at Rupp Arena. The Villains squeaked out the victory 152-149 in overtime. Jodie Meeks led all scorers with 42 points on 18-30 shooting, and Rondo added 21 points and 14 assists. Other notable performances were Corey Brewer with 32 points and 5 Steals, and Rudy Gay with 25 points.
But the play of the game certainly has to go to Kenneth Faried of the Villains as he gives Enes Kanter the Dikembe Mutumbo treatment. No sir, not today, closed for business…
