Our countdown of the ’25 Best Dunks of All-time’ Sponsored by NBA.com/Dunk continues.
The moment has arrived. It’s time to reveal THD’s choice for the best dunk of all-time. Choosing and reminiscing over the first 24 dunks in our countdown was one of the highlights of my summer.
While the first 24 dunks selected are beautiful and unique in their own special way, was there any real question as to what the number one dunk would be?
In the midst of Team USA steamrolling their way to the gold medal at the 2000 Olympics, Vince Carter broke up the monotony by providing us with his famous dunk against the French national team.
After Carter steals the arrant pass, he literally jumps over the 7’2” Frederic Weis, before flushing home the dunk. Be sure to check out the reactions of the other players on Team USA, especially Kevin Garnett’s.
