Immediately following Tuesday’s critical labor meeting, the word was that talks broke off because while the players made concessions regarding basketball related revenue that would go to the players, the owners wouldn’t budge regarding the hard salary cap. Then yesterday, as a result of Derek Fisher’s letter, he told the players that it was due to disagreements amongst the owners. Later in the day yesterday, it was rumored that Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert was one of the key guys holding this up. Gilbert disagreed with that rumor which caused him to do what he knows best: login to Twitter. So if you’re an NBA “Bloggissist”, he’s not happy with you today. From his Twitter account:
