Our countdown of the ’25 Best Dunks of All-time’ Sponsored by NBA.com/Dunk continues.
Golden State Warriors fans will always remember the 2007 postseason. Not only did the team become the first eighth seed to beat a number one seed in a seven game playoff series, but Baron Davis played some of the most spirited basketball of his career. Whichever one of these feats is more rare is debatable.
If there is one player who can testify to Davis playing out of his skull during the 2007 playoffs, it’s Andrei Kirilenko. Rumor has it, when Davis initially dunked on Kirilenko, AK-47’s mohawk temporarily turned grey.
After Davis beats Deron Williams off the dribble, Kirilenko attempts to come over from the weakside to stop Davis’ dunk. Notice the word ‘attempt’.
