I am sure Dirk Nowitzki, Mark Cuban and all of the Mavericks fans have had dreams of a Texas-sized championship parade for many years. On Thursday afternoon, the dream was realized.
After the parade concluded, the team gathered in the American Airlines Center for a rally.
Dirk Nowitzki, Mark Cuban, Jason Kidd, Jason Terry and Tyson Chandler all spoke to the fans in attendance. In addition, Brian Cardinal and Shawn Marion shared a few dance moves. One of the player’s moves (I bet you can guess which one) were similar to Mark Madsen’s dance spectacular during the Lakers’ championship parade in 2001.
It was a good ending to a great season for the Mavericks. Check out the video of the parade and rally after the jump:
