The Hoop Doctors’ 24th best dunk of all-time goes to Rudy Gay of the Memphis Grizzlies. Not only does Rudy Gay get extra points for posterizing both Luis Scola and Dikembe Mutombo, the dunk itself catches me by surprise every time I watch it. Does anybody really expect him to pull off such a vicious slam?
Also, it’s pretty cool to see Luis Scola fly to the floor like a bowling pin.
So, based on the double posterization and the surprise factor, Gay gets the nod for the 24th best flush.
