China-based Li-Ning drops another sneaker today in their Freestyle line called that Li-Ning Neon. White is seen at the top of the base with black finishing off the upper and midsole. A bright blue is used on the sole and outer shoe branding while a neon yellow is seen on the laces, collar, and piping.
The sole’s threads are made from the same rubber used in Michelin Performance tires making for a great outdoor basketball shoe. Keeping with the tough construction, barrel laces are used on this shoe which will make for a very durable shoe because as anyone who hoops a lot in the same sneakers, especially outside, know how easy it is to break laces.
The Li-Ning Neon drops today June 1, 2011 over in China. No word yet on a US release.
