In Saturday’s Game 3, Rajon Rondo suffered one of the most gruesome injuries on the basketball court that you’ll ever see. It was so bad, I could only watch the replay once. He then did one of the most courageous things you’ll every see on the basketball court by returning to the game not that long after. His elbow is understandably still sore and his status for tonight’s Game 4 is uncertain at this point.
Rajon Rondo’s elbow tested OK on Sunday, and Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers says his point guard will be a gametime decision for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against Miami.
Rondo dislocated his left elbow in Saturday night’s game, which Boston won 97-81. He had an MRI and CAT scan at New England Baptist Hospital on Sunday, which Celtics spokesman Jeff Twiss said came out negative.
