Spring is here and it’s time for another Sneaker Con, the sneaker culture’s leading buy/sell/trade sneaker & apparel convention.

Sneaker Con was founded in 2008, designed to be the ultimate sneaker culture gathering, Sneaker Con offers those who are passionate about their footwear a chance to come out and buy/sell/trade shoes with other likeminded sneakerheads. With wall to wall vendors selling the the hottest, rarest and most sought after sneakers on the market from Nike, Adidas, Reebok, New Balance and more, Sneaker Con provides patrons with a great opportunity to get their hands on those exclusive and hard to find items that have long disappeared from retail shelves. In addition to just the sneakers, you can also expect to find vendors selling new and vintage clothing, accessories and collectibles, as well as some head-turning showcase displays put together for the viewing pleasure of those in attendance.

With two successful events under the belt already, Sneaker Con is poised to make its biggest splash yet with the May 22nd event going down at 151 Sullivan Street in NYC, a sprawling 10,000 square ft venue right in the heart of Soho. This time around, Sneaker Con will house forty vendors offering the most exclusive sneakers around, as well as live DJ’s spinning, a very special display by Adidas and a jaw-dropping showcase of KAWS toys from the never-before-seen private collection of Lev from Toy Tokyo. This Sneaker Con is poised to make its biggest splash yet thanks to a strong list of vendors, including some big names in the industry like Dr. Jay’s, online webstore CitySole.com, Osneaker.com and sneaker boutique Kixclusive. And if you’re a female sneakerhead, there’s no need to feel left out. The ladies will be covered as well, with many vendors offering a wide selection of smaller sizes too. If you’re near the NYC area and into sneakers, this one is not to be missed.

The latest edition to the Air Jordan PE class C.C. Sabathia has demonstrated his amazing ability as an athlete and his contributions to winning a National Championship with the New York Yankees. This very limited Air Jordan Alpha AJ1 Outdoor C.C. Sabathia player exclusive features a 3M layer that sorrounds the shoe. There is a tag inside the shoe that says the following “With this special release of the Air Jordan Alpha AJ1 Outdoor we celebrate C.C. Sabathia’s dominating season en route the 2009 championship with a shoe that speaks to his edge and contemporary style.” This pair is limited to less than 150 pairs and features some amazing details and Osneaker has them in stock

With the nice weather slowly approaching it is time to for sneaker heads to start rocking some springtime colorways. The latest inception is this very limited pair of Nike Big High “Green Bleach Splatter.” There were less than 100 pairs o f these produced and they are very hard to come by. This is a very cool shoe that sports an unusual Green Bleach Splatter pattern.

To celebrate the 2010 NBA All-Star Game, adidas will launch special All-Star colorways of the all-new adidas TS Supernatural basketball shoe.

Adidas explained the technology to us as follows:

The lightest adidas basketball shoe to date, it features Pure Motion technology, which works to adapt to the natural motion of your feet when playing to ensure optimal traction and stability. The shoe design is inspired by Dallas – and the pattern represents the old West and Dallas as a former frontier town.

NBA All-Stars Dwight Howard, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett will wear their respective East and West colorways of the Commander version, while first-time All-Star Derrick Rose will wear the Creator. The adidas TS Supernatural Creator is available in West All-Star red/white/gold, and the adidas TS Supernatural Commander is available in East All-Star blue/white/silver for $125 in limited numbers at Foot Locker, Foot Action, Eastbay, Champs, adidasbasketball.com and at NBA Jam Session in Dallas.
