Prolific HS Scorer Luke Kennard (41ppg) Commits To Duke

luke kennard duke 1Few players, if any, score the rock as easily as newest Duke commit Luke Kennard.

The 5 star junior shooting guard, hailing from Franklin, Ohio, has been the hottest high school player on the recruiting front after averaging a ridiculous 41 ppg, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists this season for Franklin HS.

His stock really shot through the roof following a monstrous 53 point outburst in front of UNC coach Roy Williams earlier this season.

Kennard followed that up with an even more impressive 59 point outburst to set a new school record, his 3rd 50 point game of the season, plus an additional 9 games of 40 or more, to put up some of the most amazing offensive numbers not only in the state of Ohio, but on any level or class in the nation.

The prolific scoring 6’5 shooting guard must have decided to strike while the iron is hot when it comes to choosing his college destination as he selected Coach K and Duke University over Kentucky, North Carolina, Michigan, and the hometown Ohio State.

Luke is considered mostly a 2 guard but has above average ball-handling and could eventually take over point guard duties following Quin Cook and the incoming Tyus Jones, one of the top rated floor generals in the 2014 Class.

Kennard is the #24 rated prospect in the 2015 recruiting class but has the potential to be a top 10 rated player at the completion of his senior campaign.  The 5 star junior was a unanimous selection as the 2013-2014 Mr Basketball in Ohio and also was named Gatorade Player of the Year in the Buckeye State.
