While Micheal Jordan was winning scoring titles and MVP Awards early on in his career, he wasn’t even among the top 20 highest paid players in the league.
But once he returned from his initial retirement, MJ made more than $30 million per season late in the 2nd three-peat years.
Timing is everything. And while players like Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, and Carmelo Anthony are rightfully among the Top 10 paid players in the league, there are several players that definitely do not belong in the Top 20 but signed a huge deal when their product was in demand or declined rapidly do to injuries.
Surely one can guess a few of the aforementioned players on the list but a few might surprise you based on their recent production, or lack there of.
