Dwyane Wade Debuts Li-Ning Way Of Wade ‘Chicago’ Against Bulls

Going with the lower cut Li-Ning Way of Wade, the ‘Chicago’ features a full-grain black leather upper with red patent leather panels.  A white speckled midsole sits atop of a translucent outsole which, when sideways, features a city image that is inspired by the Chicago skyline. Since Wade being from the Chicago area, it’s no wonder that he had a special pair of his Wade of Wade sneaker made especially for this game.

The date of this Bulls/Heat game wasn’t the only noteworthy thing written on the tag inside of the tongue.  Above the date are the words “I’m so Chi that you thought I was bashful” which are lyrics from ‘Get Em High’, a song featuring Talib Kweli and fellow Chicago native Kanye West.  It is minor details like this that shows you Dwyane Wade is taking full advantage of his Li-Ning partnership.
