Paul Pierce is Still Clutch When It Counts

The story of the weekend in the NBA was the Rajon Rondo torn ACL that will keep him out the remainder of the season, and beyond. But in the process a pretty spectacular basketball game occurred between what were just a short while ago, two powerhouse rivals in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics may no longer be considered a powerhouse, but they certainly gave the defending champs fits most of this double overtime game.

In the closing moments of the second overtime, Paul Pierce did what he has been doing for the green for seemingly forever. He comes up clutch with the mid-range jumpshot. A good way to kick off the post-Rondo stretch facing them for the remainder of the year.
