We made our thoughts known on the Kevin Garnett and Carmelo Anthony situation a couple weeks ago, after KG made in game comments to Melo about his wife, which prompted Melo to wait for Garnett at the Celtics team bus following the game. Not much came of it besides a fine and suspension for Carmelo, and a whole lot of speculation around the blogosphere as to what Garnett actually said to Carmelo. The most rampant has Garnett telling Melo that his wife ‘tastes like honeynut cheerios’.
Some creative entrepreneur has started making t-shirts with a Kevin Garnett likeness as the Honey Nut Cheerios bee. I’d love to see Garnett stroll in to the arena wearing this t-shirt for the next meeting with the Knicks. It would be worth the dress code fine Mr. Garnett.
